Layla is the founder, CEO, and CTO of Quantumerge. She is also the founder and CEO of a successful insurance consulting and software development company – Zala Technology. With Zala, she built the backbones of various insurtechs or fintech companies that were trying to enter the insurance space.
She is the founder of two other Europe-based companies that were acquired x10 multiple when she was only 18 years old. Prior to joining the insurance industry in 2016 as an underwriter for the largest MGU in the world, Victor Insurance within Marsh & McLennan family, she spent over eight years as a data scientist developing threat assessment models together with international security organizations. She is a recognized advisor on threat assessment issues to governmental and non-governmental organizations to this day.
